Who We Are

Our journey began in 1996 at JJ College of Engineering & Technology, where we were later united under the Computer Science Department in 1997. What followed were years filled with learning, laughter, and lifelong friendships. As the milestone batch of 2000, we graduated with dreams in our hearts and uncertainty in our steps, each of us venturing into different cities, careers, and families.

Though life scattered us across the globe, a few of us chose connection over distance. In 2004, ROOTS Foundation was born—an initiative sparked by compassion and a shared desire to give back. With just ₹500 a month from each contributor, we began supporting students in need of educational assistance.

Despite personal and financial challenges, we came together to make a difference. Though the foundation paused after two years due to life’s demands, many continued helping students individually, quietly keeping the spirit alive.

Fast forward to July 12, 2025—a grand reunion brought us back to the corridors of our beloved college. The air was filled with laughter, stories, and the joy of rediscovery. Our CSE ’96 batch held an exclusive gathering the next day, July 13, where memories flowed freely and bonds were rekindled.
